50 volumes of the 51 Volume GREAT SOVIET ENCYCLOPEDIA (missing Volume 15). This is a set of the RARE 1948-1955 Stalinist era set of the Great Soviet Encyclopedia. Each volume has 600-800p and numerous color/black and white illustrations. Additionally, numerous color propaganda art works, fold-out maps, and posters throughout. Each volume is large hard-cover with approximately 650-700 pages and numerous color/black and white illustrations. Additionally, numerous color military art works, fold-out battle maps, and military posters throughout. Printed in Moscow in the early 1960s. This is the official (1960's era) history of the Great Patriotic War (World War II). Books are in Russian. All volumes are in very good(+) condition with very good(-) djs (no dj on Vol 5). Text clean on all. This rare complete 6 volume set plus the additional soft-covered appendix with 16 more fold-out maps is $425.00.

This is the rarer "revised" (post-Stalin) official (1970's era) history of the Great Patriotic War (World War II). Books are in Russian. All volumes are in very good - very good(-) condition (light damp staining/rippling in several). This rare complete 12 volume set is $795.00
